...that I found interesting yesterday. First/most obviously, Ginny's post where she sounds much more like herself, and much more like an eleven-year-old girl, than she has for awhile. Looks like she's still the one with Tom's journal, yes?

Second and more amusingly, Regulus's auction. I thought at first it might have been Sirius somehow, trying to save his brother from Umbridge's clutches or some such. But obviously that's not the case. But now I want to know who it was! Didn't Regulus mention a lover at some point?

I wonder exactly how they're going to get around Madam Pomfrey, if Ginny ends up going - or how she'll end up not going. I mean, if she scans clean, that's one thing - unless she's not the one with the journal - but she's clearly having problems, and it'd be weird for her to scan clean, and if she has the journal, now everyone will be thinking about her...

True, and since it's unlikely Madame Pomfrey would be able to detect possession, she probably would scan clean. (Well, I think it's unlikely. The horcrux was very complicated, old and dark magic, and I don't think she'd come across that very often.) I guess they'd probably just think she was worried about doing well her first year, and the Heir business. Madame Pomfrey did say there were an awful lot of nervous/upset students this year...

Your comment about Regulus sent me searching....

There's a couple places where Narcissa teases him about breaking hearts, but they could also be talking about their card game (I dunno, do wizards play Hearts?).

But then he mentions writing letters and includes a lover in his list here (http://alt-regulus.dreamwidth.org/2082.html), followed by imagining that Voldemort would laugh at him for it.
