Lucius approves of Fudge's early steps as Minister, though his opinion of the travel restrictions is mixed. Sirius wishes Alice a happy birthday. Hermione provides some intelligence to the other ISS kids about Hogwarts' security.
1 February
Amycus Carrow rearranges seating in his classroom. Sally-Anne likes being in the back, however. Seamus writes to his guardian about Muggle Studies, where Alecto Carrow also rearranged the seating for halfbloods. Draco discovers more unwelcome gifts from Dennis.
2 February
Seamus experiences more changes to seating in Charms.
3 February
Ron worries about the treatment the halfblood students are receiving. Ernie lets his parents know he's all right.
4 February
Lucius authorizes an Unspeakable to conduct "field tests" for a secret project.
5 February
Zacharias goes on the record with his opinion about halfbloods. Hydra perceives that anxiety at school is a rehearsal for anxiety in life. Seamus requests help from Neville, and then collects his thoughts about Ron getting cursed with the Cruciatus. Sally-Anne insults Ron's detractors behind the ISS lock.
