Sally-Anne receives her permission form to go to Hogsmeade. Narcissa waits for Lucius to show up for lunch. Professor Amycus Carrow experiments with the effect of Dementors on his mood. Barty instructs his clerk to reschedule some meetings.

Sirius reads about another apothecary break-in and suspects that it is linked to previous robberies and Snape.

Padma checks with Seamus regarding his plans for Hogsmeade and revising over the weekend. Harry floats. Later, he recovers his journal after dropping it. Seamus arranges to meet his friend, Geoffrey Hooper, again.

Lana Sandoval plants a memory aid for herself about memory-related skills and truth detection. Zacharias laughs at the anonymous authors of a series of forged Grim Truths, covered in The Daily Prophet. Hermione reports a suspicious character in Hogsmeade. Professor McGonagall deals with the ramifications of Hermione's discovery. Lucius informs Minerva and Lestrange of decisions regarding Harry's safety. He also plans for Draco and Pansy to arm themselves against an increase in the Dementors' proximity. Terry worries that Harry has put Hermione in harm's way.
