4 December
Narcissa revels in the festival atmosphere celebrating the "proof" of Sirius' demise. Hannah catches up on her assignments.
5 December
Pansy declares herself sickened by too much chocolate (and too many people celebrating).
6 December
Lucius requires Narcissa to accompany him at a luncheon suddenly turned diplomatic obligation. Barty skips town on an errand. Sirius learns via a note from Minerva that there are three babies to rescue from three different camps. Ginny demands some alone time with Percy. Padma enlists Seamus, Lavender, and Parvati in an elaborate scheme to make her dates seem less improper.
7 December
Seamus starts planning for the holidays. Sally-Anne negotiates with her foster family for time with Pansy. Seamus relays Padma's plan to his friend Geoffrey Hooper. Draco addresses several ongoing conversations with various people. Kingsley brings Moddey Dhoo its newest resident, not without some unexpected difficulty. Pansy asks Padma for help in her mother's quest for custom robes from Mrs Patil.
8 December
Sirius tells Poppy that the infant he and Frank have rescued has medical problems that require urgent attention. Pansy offers her mother some choices short of custom robes and reminds her to send her allowance. Sally-Anne informs Pansy that the Strettons have not given them quite as much time together as they hoped.
9 December
Lucius issues directions to his clerk on a handful of topics. Professor McGonagall berates Frank and Sirius on their hijinks overnight. Sally-Anne wishes Carrow had been attacked early enough to miss Slytherin's lessons. Michael decides to go home for Christmas. Lucius contacts McGonagall and Professor Lestrange to find out what happened to Carrow and what's being done.
10 December
Sirius reports improvement in little Will's condition. Professor Lestrange requests Bellatrix's help in conducting the inquiry into Carrow's attack - and calming Alecto for everyone's sake. Frank seeks Alice's permission to steal Neville for a brief visit. Madam Pomfrey gripes that Frank and Sirius' actions have continued to generate repercussions - namely, Bella's arrival at Hogwarts. Daphne remarks on Bella's appearance at the castle and speculates on the holiday party season in New London.
