Barty congratulates Maebh on her success with Lucius' birthday party. Padma brings Zabini's mother's apparent relationship with Seamus's foster-father to Seamus's attention. Pansy writes a song for Ron's birthday. Ron thanks everyone who celebrated with him.

Lucius alters their plans to celebrate Barty's engagement. Narcissa detects the arrival of spring.

Narcissa also schemes on behalf of Pansy to pressure the Campbells into hosting a party at Easter.
