Any guesses about what Draco was going to say (but crossed out) here?

My first guess is "You could at least say thank you," but why on Earth would he say that? What would Lupin be saying thank you for? Is this supposed to clue us in to some off-journal interaction where Draco (or Lucius) did something for Lupin? Or is there a more obvious explanation for all this that I'm missing?

I wondered about this comment (http://community.livejournal.com/hpalternity/8124.html?thread=51644#t51644), and the exchange that followed. I know Lucius and Narcissa have been putting forth the idea of being nicer to other students in the hopes that they'll embrace their new alien overlords be a bit less likely to revolt against the rule of the Lord Protector and whatnot, but Draco being nice, and to Neville of all people ... that's just weird.

Well, Alice dropped him off at Hogwarts, and we know Hermione helped him get to the hospital wing, but what if Draco also helped him in some way? It's not the sort of thing he'd want to advertise on the journals.

Good catch!
Proven right just now by this comment (http://alt-theodore.livejournal.com/1950.html?thread=48542#t48542) that was just posted, where Teddy admits (and then crosses out) that he and Draco were in the infirmary the other night.

So now, what did they do while there that Draco thinks he should be thanked for? Or am I wrong to infer "thank you" from "you could at least say th-"?
