They totally do. And it is totally sweet.

I think one thing I was missing from the books were close relationships between women, or close friendships between girls, and I just adore how the two of them tick along.

And Sally-Anne is just an awesome person. In the books, she's just sort of a side-note, she never gets a line, and she's just such a complete individual in this game that I expect to see her when I look at the movies and read the books, and miss her when I don't. :)

You are so totally not alone in that. I have to remind myself when watching the movies or rereading books that Pavarti is not a horrid, backstabbing, social climber. I suspect that some of the most jarring are going to come later in the series, Harry, Draco and Ginny in particular. I also have to commend the players on making Harry so believably Harry even with the completely different upbringing. I just wish we could see more of him, but I totally get why we don't given to world and his... family.

I'm very glad to hear that. He's so central to the story (well DUH) and clearly the lynch pin of whatever's different in this universe than canon. I absolutely adore the awesome portrayals of Sally-Anne, Pansy, Ron, Lucius, Barty, Narcissus and all the older Phoenicians, but I miss Harry's triumvirate. Even if in this universe it's Draco, Pansy and Harry with Hermione dragged along instead of Ron, Hermione and Harry.
