Seems like very delayed reaction. I don't know if Bella curses Hydra with specific conditions and results in mind (like that poor poor girl with the eating disorder, can I just say 'clinics' that use Imperius for weight loss? *twitch* uggggg) or if she just abuses her while trying to reinforce whatever current 'failing' of Hydra's has her riled up, completely undermining her stated goal of making her a powerful, independent and assertive witch.
I think it's just emotional abuse, not a curse. I remember when I was about Hydra's age (12-ish?) when my dad, whom I idolized, was disappointed in me, I wouldn't eat anything other than what it took to make people think I was okay and whatnot. Self-punishment, it's a nasty thing. (Yes, things got better once he found out that what I was doing.)
I don't doubt that if Bellatrix was truly upset she'd go for some small cursing, but nothing that'd actually hurt Hydra's health. She does love her daughter, but it's the same love she's got for everything/body that isn't the Lord Protector.
Oh, I don't think that's Bella's goal, if indeed she's done something to Hydra. Her intent would have been to get Hydra to not eat sweets --> get hungry --> eat non-sweets. But Hydra's stubborn, like her mother.
