Two questions/comments:

I'm too lazy to go search through it all. Has Sirius identified Harry as Lily and James son or has Draco pulled a Flint?

and

Would wizards really swear by Jesus? I know this is something that has been discussed elsewhere, but I haven't seen anything one way or the other in Alternity's context.

On the other hand, oh is this going to be kicking a hornet's nest. This is going to be fun to watch.

I wondered the same thing about Draco's question. Assuming it is not a mistake on the player's part, it indicates that Harry's parentage is known to his peers, including some knowledge (of some version) of the events that led to his parents' deaths and to his being fostered by the Lord Protector. I'm very interested to see what more we learn about those issues as a result of Sirius' post.

I'll also be interested to see if you get any answers from the players about McG's "Christ Jesus."

I'm trying to figure out how to interpret Pansy's latest posts. The most likely explanation is that she actually does feel guilty now that her father-figure has yelled at her and now that she has been doing some research (and has been lied to about who invented opera).

But something about her tone almost makes it sound like she's being over the top ("I've been so monstrously bad," "he hit me, but I deserved it for saying the things I did" "Remember you promised you'd never lie to me and so I know you won't."). And if she were older I would suspect her of actually secretly mocking Lucius and co., while making a show of pretending to give in to what they want.

But she's 11, so I'm probably imagining it. Right?

Yes, and what's this stuff about wanting to be more like Sally-Anne. I realize that Sally-Anne explained the party line about Muggles and showed that she had been properly taught by her teacher at the "village" school, but. Has Lucius really recommended that Pansy model herself on a half-blood? I guess he has, as he seems to have proposed that Sally-Anne spend Christmas at Pansy's house, but ... something about this doesn't connect with Sally-Anne's intimations that she is having a hard time with the Carrows because of her lower caste status. I'm wanting to hear a bit of irony in Pansy's suggestion that she adopt the half-blood as her role model.

Maybe I'm seeing irony that isn't there?

But Sally-Anne is a 'Good half-blood' she has renounced her blood traitor parents, hence why she has no where to go at christmas, and she says and does all the right things. Although its clear she knows her place in society is precarious and its a necessity but still, in that regard she is a good role model for Pansy. She hasn't had Pansy's priviledged upbringing yet she is the one who s toeing the party line so publicly.

Ah thank you for the clarification. I was also thinking about whether Voldie would be suppressing Muggle religions under his regime and therefore a religious exclamation would be... unwise.
