Absolutely. But that only makes it more interesting because, if that's the case, Draco was risking (no, really, pretty much setting up) Druella's asking Narcissa about her mothering day gift from Draco in a way that would produce awkwardness. He either comes off as looking childishly unrealistic in his gift-giving ideas (which he'd probably hate his Nanella to think about him--and what if she's amused and tells Narcissa the whole story?!) or he has to come through with something suitably grand even if it's short of emeralds.
