Director Selywn refuses Madam Umbridge's requests to be given unfettered access to private messages. Snape returns to Hogwarts. Neville looks for the family owl.
8 April
Snape finds himself enlisted to help Madam Umbridge snoop and pry into the staff's quarters. Madam Umbridge complains to her confederates at the Ministry. Harry considers how best to arrange extra help for the halfblood students. Remus posts the minutes of the joint Order-ISS meeting.
9 April
Sally-Anne provides her version of the meeting minutes. Bill regrets his earlier behavior at the meeting. Professor Sinistra worries about who could have left her an anonymous warning regarding Umbridge's prying.
10 April
Kingsley runs down his list of the ISS's dueling abilities. Sally-Anne approves of Luna's unconventional style.
11 April
Alice missteps while trying to win Sally-Anne's goodwill. Professor Dolohov invites Lucius and Narcissa to celebrate Barty's "adoption" as his heir. Cedric discovers to his chagrin that his dress robes for the Baddock-Moon wedding are anything but inexpensive. Megan helps Madam Umbridge in her quest for contraband. Pansy questions Professor Sinistra, along with Sally-Anne, about Madam Umbridge's blackmail material. Justin announces Tea Appreciation on Friday. Molly indulges in new wardrobe selections. Hermione informs the Order what Sally-Anne and Pansy learned.
