Is it just me, or does his voice sound off? I mean, it's kind of that overly formal thing he does sometimes, but not quite?

Or maybe I'm just imagining things. I can't really tell.

I read it as him having to half-convince himself that he really would prefer to spend his birthday away from his family, but you could be right.

In that case I'll be happy to transfer the punching to a more appropriate face. :D

I noticed his icon, too. The one he uses with Lucius, or whenever he's putting his professional demeanor on. You know, I think this may be the first time he's used his 'professional demeanor' icon with his family.
