Well, it's happened.
Apr. 25th, 2014 11:52 pmYou've officially made me feel sorry for Padma. I didn't think it was possible, but.
Oh. My. Merlin.
Actually, I'd be feeling sorrier for her if I wasn't laughing quite this hard.
Also of import: this thread. Hope we get to find out exactly what Mr. Malfoy said soon!
Why would Ptolemy Baddock be angry, though? Unless Finnigan . . .
This is the best party ever.

(God, poor Draco).

My concern for Draco is that he is going to get distracted a little by Padma. After all Ron didn't want to impede his chances in the competition.

Date: 2014-04-26 08:20 am (UTC)Yeah, Padma as she is right now is certainly a distraction. Feel sorry for her too. They didn't make her like Draco, he's just who her heart desires.
I kind of hope Draco isn't a jerk about it. Apologetic and firm, but decent. You know? And really, now he knows how it feels to have someone like you whom you don't like. So maybe it's a good thing.

Date: 2014-04-26 08:38 am (UTC)The Lamb's rewrote it as Tales from Shakespeare, a book for Children.
I had a copy of Macbeth as a child that had the original on one page and a modern poetic version opposite.
There have been comic book style animations, versions set in different historic eras.
You may dislike them doing it, but it is really not unusual.

Date: 2014-04-26 08:46 am (UTC)Back in year 1 , Lucius says that Revati Patel has approached him worried that Padma is being inappropriate in her delight at befriending Draco.
Has she been nursing a crush all these years? And if so have the players been planning this, or is it just coincidental?

Date: 2014-04-26 08:47 am (UTC)I know Shakespeare gets rewritten a lot, and I'm even fond of some of those versions. What bothers me is that they injected racism (magicism?)into it.

Date: 2014-04-26 04:24 pm (UTC)Cutting out her heart and making it stop sounds like a pretty severe choice. Like the sort you don't come back from.

Date: 2014-04-26 05:20 pm (UTC)This is getting messy. And I'm more worried Ron will get great marks for his plan than I am about Patil.
Did you see what she wrote about Dean Thomas? There really is nothing nice about her

Date: 2014-04-26 05:31 pm (UTC)And I'm worried about Draco's and Ron's ability to work together in the Order, too - Draco asked "what did you give her, so it can be fixed?" and Ron was all "ha ha ha wait I mean oh no oh no that's terrible" :(
