And now she has contacts in the Department of Mysteries (http://alt-pansy.dreamwidth.org/21643.html?thread=372875#cmt372875) who work with time travel (and presumably Time-Turners, though she doesn't say so specifically.) If this is a red herring, it's suckered me in.

Am I reading it right that this is part of a project she's working on with Padma? Are they going to try to make a Time Turner or something? That would be awesome, though probably a bit beyond their abilities - but I can't figure out why else they'd be researching it. You wouldn't need to research just to use one, would you?
