This is sooo not the resolution anyone would prefer! It looks like Sirius is going to try and help, but it also looks like Neville (the person I would so not want to mess with) also has a plan and oh gosh do you think we might be able to see Terry at the Sanctuary?

How dark is the world when you are cheering for Rodolphus and Rabastan bloody Lestrange to catch someone in a dark alley? For that matter at this point Lucius & Narcissa might help them.

Terry did it to protect Hermione and McGonagall, because he thinks he can survive and threats were directed their way.

I actually sort of like the Lestrange brothers. Raz is actually a pretty nice guy. And Rodolphus has his moments, and isn't completely bonkers like his wife -- the moments of tension between them about hydra have been fascinating.

YES THIS. This is one of the things I love most about this game: nobody's black and white. Even Lucius Malfoy has a quality or three that might be redemptive, were he to give them full expression. The Lestrange brothers have bad politics and worse prejudices, but that's not all they are. Rather like some relatives of mine, come to think.

I could definitely see it being that. I doubt Hermione would ask him to write the LP, but trying to save him by going back with time turner... maybe he tried to go back further than the turner would allow. There's got to be a limit on it or they wouldn't give it to a student, even to Harry.

I don't see what else it could have been other than the time-turner, but that seems like an awfully unsatisfactory way to resolve what is a major plot point in canon.

I don't think it was meant to be the equivalent of saving Buckbeak. I still think they'll need it for the Snape/Sirius confrontation. Maybe Harry helps one of them escape? Or maybe he saves Buckbeak, though I don't think he has as much motivation to do it in this universe.

My heart is entirely broken. Terry being taken away, Hermione's anguish, Percy seeing Thestrals... and poor, poor Hannah.

It's so well done but I hate every last player right now for stomping on my poor battered heart. (I mean that with utmost love and respect, guys. Job well done that I'm feeling it so much.)
