I'm so glad Seamus felt like he could come out to Padma. He's hinted around it several times, and I'm glad he has a friend he can trust. Given his precarious place in the Protectorate, I (sadly) understand why he might want to keep it quiet, though.

I agree. I wonder if Padma will turn out to be a trustworthy friend for Seamus. So far it seems so, but it also seems as if Padma will need to grow a bit to accept this. (And I wonder if there will be stumbles along the way to that growth...)

I think it will take her a while to truly accept it. It will be interesting to she what her reaction is when it becomes public knowledge. I wonder how Seamus will be treated once the truth comes out. Unlike Regulus, his societal status is much more shaky, even if his foster parent is well-respected.
