Zacharias wishes Cedric (and Harry) good luck on the first task. Lana Sandoval responds to Padma. Draco provides banners to support the champions. Hermione forgets her station. She apologizes immediately. Ron watches the challenge in amazement. Hydra admires the dragons greatly. Lana congratulates Cedric on his performance. Sally-Anne verifies the next species of dragon. Seamus roots for Harry when it's his turn. Lucius praises Harry publicly, while privately demanding he answer for Hermione's mistake. Pansy reacts to Harry's success. Harry confirms that his arm is good as new. Ron compares the techniques Harry's rivals used. Blaise tells Harry he's missing his own celebration. Sally-Anne notices that Harry, Draco, and Hermione are missing. Draco skips the party to work on his assignment for his father.

Lana reiterates her congratulations to all the champions. Ron wonders what happened to Hermione in the aftermath. Padma catches up on Hermione's gaffe. Professor McGonagall relates to the Order the terms of Hermione's punishment. Hermione assures the ISS kids that she's physically okay.

Professor Lestrange gives Harry a pep talk. Alice returns to Moddey Dhoo after visiting Remus. Bill lets Remus and Professor McGonagall know what he found out about Bellatrix's interest in werewolves. Snape ensconces himself at Hogwarts, assuming the identity of the caretaker, Carolus Milland. Sirius finds Snape's actions ironic.
22 November
Professor McGonagall sustains Snape's decision to replace Milland. Lucius seeks Barty Crouch, Jr's input regarding a setback that threatens him on more than one level. Professor Lestrange turns to Professor Sinistra when his conversation with Harry shakes him. Sally-Anne writes openly so her parents can read it. Harry promises Draco to try harder.
23 November
Padma gets excited for the Yule Ball. Sirius asks Alice a question about Remus. Remus beams at the change in his relationship with Sirius. He also checks with Tonks about her feelings on the matter. Sirius fumbles at his own attempt to talk to her about it. Pansy presents Sally-Anne with dress robes. Snape justifies his decision to the rest of the Order.
24 November
Alice offers Tonks her support.
25 November
Padma receives an invitation to Hogsmeade - from the Quidditch Captain, Roger Davies. Sally-Anne mocks Padma's indiscretion. Nymphadora updates her readers on Bea's milestones and Laszlo's holiday specials.
