She apologizes immediately. Ron watches the challenge in amazement. Hydra admires the dragons greatly. Lana congratulates Cedric on his performance. Sally-Anne verifies the next species of dragon. Seamus roots for Harry when it's his turn. Lucius praises Harry publicly, while privately demanding he answer for Hermione's mistake. Pansy reacts to Harry's success. Harry confirms that his arm is good as new. Ron compares the techniques Harry's rivals used. Blaise tells Harry he's missing his own celebration. Sally-Anne notices that Harry, Draco, and Hermione are missing. Draco skips the party to work on his assignment for his father.

Sirius finds Snape's actions ironic.

Professor McGonagall sustains Snape's decision to replace Milland. Lucius seeks Barty Crouch, Jr's input regarding a setback that threatens him on more than one level. Professor Lestrange turns to Professor Sinistra when his conversation with Harry shakes him. Sally-Anne writes openly so her parents can read it. Harry promises Draco to try harder.

23 November
Padma gets excited for the Yule Ball. Sirius asks Alice a question about Remus. Remus beams at the change in his relationship with Sirius. He also checks with Tonks about her feelings on the matter. Sirius fumbles at his own attempt to talk to her about it. Pansy presents Sally-Anne with dress robes. Snape justifies his decision to the rest of the Order.

Alice offers Tonks her support.

25 November
Padma receives an invitation to Hogsmeade - from the Quidditch Captain, Roger Davies. Sally-Anne mocks Padma's indiscretion. Nymphadora updates her readers on Bea's milestones and Laszlo's holiday specials.

Professor Sinistra coordinates with Professor Lestrange. Remus solicits help from McGonagall and Bill to keep Hermione's mother away from Bellatrix. He also unloads onto Alice, a little. Padma reads a new gossip magazine.

Professor Sinistra confers with Poppy over the inspection schedule. Sirius gives Hermione some advice to give to Harry. Harry plans a little extra practice in the morning.

Narcissa thanks her girlfriends for their get-together. Professor Sinistra catches up on her reading. Bill confirms that Percy will be difficult to use as a source of intelligence about Lucius or his cronies. Hydra asks Sally-Anne for help with a message. Sally-Anne complies. Nymphadora receives the intended warning with some confusion. Sally-Anne turns to the ISS kids with some surprise of her own.

Charlotte Smythe claims credit for Crouch's murder on behalf of the DogStar Company. Remus reports the news coverage that another Crouch is believed dead. Professor Sinistra soldiers forward with the YPL schedule for the year. Padma consoles Daphne.

Wil Wagstaff congratulates those responsible for Crouch's death. Professor Lestrange tries to stave off the waves of sympathy being directed at him. Draco unleashes some frustration in 'dead' Barty's direction. Pansy notices his actions. Narcissa remarks on Draco's post as well. Lavender wants to know if Padma's obtained a new admirer. Rabastan takes dictation from Barty to pass a message to Narcissa. He also passes on instructions to Barty's clerk. Lucius issues directions to Percy as well. Bellatrix welcomes Barty "back" from the grave. Bill sees her post and is intrigued. Arthur learns that Barty's death was falsely reported. Narcissa pieces together what must have happened. Sally-Anne updates the ISS as to the gossip. Lucius keeps Barty in the loop on his investigation into the circumstances of Barty's doppelganger's death. Sirius joins the party with a taunting message of his own. Professor Sinistra provides a copy of the paper so that students can confirm the news themselves. Penelope guesses that this means Percy has been busy. Nymphadora perpetrates a bit of her own mischief.

Arthur locates Percy again. Seamus apologizes to Neville in anticipation of the Irish Muggle Army being held accountable for the QWC attack. He also says a sort of goodbye to Padma. Percy manages Lucius's affairs while Lucius is recovering. Madam Pomfrey praises Hermione for her decision to remain with Harry. Professor Sinistra commends the CCF kids for their actions. Blaise confers with Teddy Nott over the construction of the bombs. Charlotte Smythe claims credit for the attack on behalf of the DogStar Company. Lavender notes that her brothers will not tell her much about the reprisals after the bombing. Barty pushes the investigations forward.

Ron boggles at the number of groups trying to claim credit for the bombing. Barty narrows the list of suspects and leads in MLE's inquiries. Bill learns that the Prophet has a photo of Sirius from the Cup. Barty seeks permission to brief Lucius on the discoveries about how he came to be so seriously injured. Narcissa goes with Bella to the Ministry. Alice informs the Order what they've learned about Moddey Dhoo's new residents. Pansy shares her sympathies and her worries for Lucius with Narcissa. She also offers succor to Draco. Penelope confides her insecurities about being Head Girl to Percy.

Blaise alerts his fellow Slytherins to the article about Sirius. Dean notices it, too. Seamus expresses his relief to Padma, on learning that the IMA are no longer suspects in the bombing. Sally-Anne denies MLE's claim that the picture of Sirius is a fake. Justin returns to France and apologizes for his abrupt departure. Madam Pomfrey teases Sirius about his new notoriety. Neville reassures Seamus regarding the decision that the IMA were not responsible for the Cup disaster. Penelope issues her first official announcement as Head Girl.

2 September
Pansy writes a personal note to Lucius for when he recovers enough to read it. Sirius condemns the bombing while asserting that he is, in fact, very much alive. Barty approves of Narcissa's press statement. Narcissa reposts the text to reinforce it after her conference. Percy responds to her, as well, about a Ministry employee's attempt to visit Lucius. Sally-Anne consults Madam Pomfrey on the subject of recurring nightmares. Ron insults the first-years. Penelope comiserates with Percy. Bellatrix asserts that Sirius cannot possibly be alive. Director Selwyn compliments Professor Sinistra on the CCF kids' performances during the QWC incident.
