I thought the first one was some sort of list of punishments in code, but "2 pair trousers" doesn't seem to fit. Perhaps he's trying experimental pigeon extermination strategies? But again, "2 pair trousers"? Am I making this harder than it needs to be?

Or a werewolf - Alecto had her dream last night, the same night Sally-Anne and Pansy stayed up to watch for Lupin.

Where is Lupin, anyway? I'm a bit worried for him, given Alecto's posting's implications of multiple test subjects and plans for Boot.

I think he *has* been mentioned in passing, but I'm not certain. I don't believe that he was part of the group out of the country that Lupin joined following the Potter's murder. And I don't believe he was part of the group that Lupin recently attacked hoping to save a child from being turned. But I do believe we've heard him mentioned. (I'm such a lot of help!)
