As is, with Barty on the rampage, I'm not sure the world will survive the afternoon. Would Sinistra be enough of a target in his mind? What about Bellatrix - after all, wasn't she the one who compelled Tosha to revive the Inferi project? And Hydra's surely a target of "I will take everyone down with me ..."
I find myself wondering if Barty has developed a death wish...he seems to be calling Hydra out, and I have to wonder if it's at least partly a plea to kill him, since he's been going 'round killing everyone he ever cared about in addition to people who might get Hydra's attention in one way or another. He was in love with Athena, he killed Daphne's family - Maebh should be *really* grateful she's locked up right now.
Barty persuaded him not only to do something that he found damnably evil (make inferi), but got him to push himself past exhaustion and then took him out into the field for a break, where, again, Barty did not sufficiently guard his back.
Hydra is absolutely killing me over the past two days with all her messages to Barty, but the lasttwo in particular were like a bludger to the stomach.
Has Jason got a way to communicate with Rachel off-journal? Or did we just not see those posts?
On a different note, I wonder if the journal magic is "smart" enough to re-direct Rookwood's post to the right Yaxley. I'm going to be really interested to see what happens with the wards over the next few days.

(Also, how awful is asphyxia as a curse? There's no doubt a half-dozen counter-curses... if you could draw the breath to cast them...)
With Tosha now in the lands beyond, I wonder if that affects the accessibility of his rooms/the Headmaster's office in Hogwarts, at least partially because of the Book. Are there still muggles/muggleborns trapped with Protectorate supporters, especially ones whose births would show up there?
