Sally-Anne thanks Percy for the notes he didn't know he provided. Director Selwyn summons his clerk to assist him. Justin assures Megan that he bears no ill will. Bill congratulates the newlyweds.

Ron checks on Pansy. Sally-Anne learns she's to serve her detentions with Healer Kerr. Professor Sinistra extends her office hours. Lavender tries to get back in the swing of lessons. Susan offers to go for a walk with Pansy. Sally-Anne asks Pansy to get a potion for a student who needs it. Linus invites Lavender to a private picnic. He also goes to Professor Sinistra for contraband food. Susan tells Sally-Anne that the potion has been delivered. Linus gets caught. Padma disparages all the people who have got in trouble after only two days back. Terry relates to Pansy and Sally-Anne's predicament. Justin checks on Hydra. Michael hosts his own small group of fifth-year Ravenclaws. Megan serves Madam Umbridge diligently. Sirius hopes Alice is feeling more herself. Professor Sinistra grumbles about other professors' apparent late withdrawal of support from Madam Umbridge.

Ron achieves his first Apparation. Sirius summons Poppy after Hermione is splinched. Molly struggles with her single mother status. Evelyn asks after Hermione.

Lana Sandoval-Pennifold takes her sister to task for getting caught sneaking food. Molly pursues a larger house and other benefits from Repopulation, which she plans to use to benefit the Order.

Professor Sinistra remarks on the changes to the visible night sky. Ron composes another chapter in the life of Satsuma the Stuffed Cat. Percy blames Bill for not pushing Molly to leave the Burrow for more opulent housing. Madam Umbridge issues Educational Decree 25, restricting the casting of spells outside class. Harry makes up his mind. Sally-Anne reacts with shock. Pansy proposes adding Harry to the lock. Cedric suggests having parents complain to the Board. Harry recommends asking permission for casting any kind of spell at all. Terry fears the invasion of privacy if Harry can read all Hermione's private messages behind the lock. Snape reports to Alice that Bill's memory was modified by a professional. Bill assures Charlie and Tonks that he's okay. Megan sees something that she thinks Madam Umbridge might need to know. Madam Umbridge blames Madam Pomfrey for not telling her first. Alice puts the Order on alert following Bill's memory lapse. Ron feels better after a couple doses of Pepper-Up.

Michael informs the Galleon group that the halfblood revision sessions are still embargoed. Madam Umbridge pulls the trigger on owl post monitoring. Michael writes his week's post. Linus apologizes for missing detention with Dolohov. Barty Crouch devises a way around Umbridge's snooping through the mail. He also invites Bellatrix out hunting. Evelyn comments on jewelry and accessories from the revue periods. Harry arranges teaching supervision for the revising groups. Professor Dolohov warns Madam Pomfrey that the post is about to undergo searches. Madam Pomfrey passes the message to Snape and Professor Sprout.

Lavender reflects on the differences between Valentine's as a first-year and Valentine's as a fifth-year. Zacharias looks forward to the match. Someone wishes Ron good luck. Blaise offers his own brand of commentary on the match. Madam Umbridge issues special seating instructions for supper. Neville wonders if anyone has ever summarily ended a Quidditch match before. Charlie struggles to achieve perspective about Poppy's choice to save Dolohov by means of the cinnibaris potion.

Justin writes about the role of parent as benevolent ruler and child (or foster-child) as obedient servant to the parent's will. He clarifies his position on a Galleon. Sally-Anne discovers why Ron could not find Ginny's box in the room of forgotten junk.

Sally-Anne worries about Pansy being punished for what Sirius did. Snape blames Sirius for acting callously. Ron asks if Pansy is all right. Michael runs down the events of the week.

Michael wonders why some of the boys have purple hair. Megan thinks they might be starting a band. Linus begs to reconstruct four and a half years' worth of class notes. Madam Pomfrey inquires of Bill and Nick whether it's likely Mr Perks will be able to take Sally-Anne back out of fostering. Ginny starts over with Luna. Eloise wants to know why she was assigned to the carpentry crew.

Harry muses on the Galleon about how to get rid of Umbridge. Someone lists her bosses and proposes turning them against her. Another suggests organizing a coordinated journal message petition. A third thinks of getting parents to write. Someone points out that they need real reasons, not just dislike. Hydra invites others to sit with her at lunch. The Galleon reminds everyone that Carrow killed a student before he was successfully sacked. Someone responds that Umbridge is no Carrow. Another recommends either boring or overwhelming her.
